TXO, a leading global supplier of used multi-vendor telecoms networking selects Sage X3 with Inixion.
TXO is a leading global supplier of used multi-vendor telecoms networking equipment to the world’s largest operators and OEMs.
Currently operating in 4 different countries including North America and Australia, TXO is expanding on its International network of offices and warehouses and needed a new business management system to assist with stock control, order processing and financial management.
The Operations Director of TXO noted that their decision to select Sage X3 with Inixion was made after considering a number of solutions and short listing this Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system together with Sage ERP 1000 and Microsoft Dynamics AX; he commented “Sage X3 offered the best range of out-of-the-box functionality for TXO yet providing a platform for specific requirements to be developed. The system will provide a fully integrated solution for TXO and our expanding International presence now, and into the future.”
Holding a combination of consignment stock and owned stock, the stock control aspects of Sage X3 distribution ERP are key to the project and where the system will provide extensive functionality; reducing stock losses, improving sales order processing and dispatch and providing accurate information to ensure the optimum pricing is achieved. With International trading at the core of Sage X3, the multi-currency and multi-company capabilities will provide TXO with a global business management system.
The Sales Director of TXO commented;
“Sage X3 and Inixion’s in-house development will provide our sales team with up to date pricing and availability information whether on the phone or on the web; it is vital we have global visibility yet finite control.”
The core financials will provide TXO with the depth of accounting functionality required for their growing global business including taking care of differing financial legislations and multi-faceted reporting and analysis requirements – both internal and external.
Finance Director of TXO explained;
“We have requests for information from our corporate customers in respect of their consignment stock on virtually a daily basis and every one is different. Sage X3 will give us the right level of information, available on-demand and with Inixion’s reporting expertise we look forward to being able to provide our partners with the information, in the format required yet still be able to drill into that information and analyse further.”
“We are delighted to welcome TXO as a customer”, Ian Bromley, Managing Director of Inixion Ltd said, “we have been specialising in Sage X3 for the past 5 years and TXO will benefit from the depth and breadth of the functionality of this ERP system coupled with its ease of use and scalability across a global business.”
