“The Sage X3 solution provides us with a very powerful and highly configurable system which enables us to deliver the functionality that the business and the users demand.”
Finance Systems Manager, UK aviation services provider

Reporting issues due to disparate accounting and ERP systems.
A leading UK aviation services provider had grown into an international organisation, with operations across the UK, Ireland, Norway and Australia. As the business expanded, it was operating multiple accounting systems, including Sage 200, resulting in financial data being spread across numerous disconnected databases. Producing consolidated group management accounts had become a time-consuming and labour-intensive process. The organisation required a single global ERP solution to centralise financial operations across its multiple companies, improve visibility and streamline group reporting.

A single, global solution to manage multiple companies trading in multiple geographic locations
The UK aviation services provider selected Sage X3 to be implemented by Inixion. The solution was required to address several key business challenges, including the need for a single ERP system and database to support the entire international organisation. This included managing multiple legal entities operating across different countries and currencies, while standardising complex financial reporting within a single solution.
To improve visibility and control, the organisation also required electronic management of inbound and outbound business-critical documents. In addition, large volumes of operational data generated by helicopter flight control systems needed to be integrated into Sage X3, providing a single source of truth and complete visibility across the business.
Sage X3 live within four months
Inixion applied its proven implementation methodology to maintain close control throughout every stage of the project. A comprehensive review of business processes was completed, documented and approved before Sage X3 was configured to meet the organisation’s requirements. The project team then received comprehensive training, followed by extensive system testing and a successful Conference Room Pilot (CRP).
The first business unit went live just four months after the project began, with the remaining international operations successfully deployed over the following months, delivering a consistent global ERP platform across the organisation.
