Inixion Customer Day 2019

Inixion’s Customer Day 2019 – ‘Adding real business benefits with Sage Enterprise Management’.

‘Knowledgeable business partners’ and ‘very professional’ were comments made about the Inixion team at their recent Customer Day held in Birmingham. This year’s theme ran through all presentations and continued into the round table breakout discussions held in the afternoon.

The entire Inixion team – with well over 120 years of experience between them in Sage Enterprise Management (formerly known as Sage X3) – were present at the event, giving customers a chance to meet them all face to face, from Support to Sales to Project Managers!

Ian Bromley, Inixion’s Managing Director, was delighted in his welcome speech to be able to mention that Inixion has never lost a customer or a member of staff in over 12 years. He also assured customers that the ‘Inixion Difference’ of being specialists in the Sage Enterprise Management solution and collaborative approach to customer projects would continue.

Sabby Gill, Managing Director of Sage UK & Ireland, attending this – his first partner conference since joining Sage, said that although an ERP system may sit within the four walls of an organisation, it is becoming more and more of a front office function as organisations seek to add more value from it. He spoke about the inevitability of change and how we are likely in the next 5 years to see more technology changes than we have experienced in the last 50 years!

Rob Sinfield, Sage Vice President for Enterprise Management, presenting the roadmap for the future of Sage Enterprise Management, spoke about the importance for organisations to deliver value to ever demanding customers in the modern world and how technology plays a vital role in this. The Sage Enterprise Management roadmap is set to deliver both functional and technical enhancements alongside Cloud deployment options.

After feedback from previous events customers were given the opportunity to join either a ‘Strategic’ or ‘Technical’ roundtable breakout where they were able to exchange ideas and views, and where lively discussions around challenges faced could be had. The streams spanned topics such as Cloud, legislations, mobile capabilities future-proofing and optimising existing systems to name a few.

Customer feedback from the event has been immensely positive and can be summarised as‘adding value’; Customers really felt that they were given the platform to network, exchange knowledge and best practice examples, meet key Sage Executives and get to know the wider Inixion team.

Such feedback will help shape future events for Inixion as it continues to help customers maximise their investment in Sage Enterprise Management.
